Password Enhancement
Logging in on any app can literally make or break the experience for the user, especially on a bank app, where security and usability intersect. In this case study, City National Bank's login flow needed a simple, yet secure solution in the event the user forget's their password.
The Problem
The need was pretty straight forward, take the basic login process (shown here) and add a secure, multi-layer solution when the user forget's their password and needs to create a new one.
The Solution
Here, the approved flow first took the user through a verification process to make sure they are who they claim to be via a unique code sent to their phone. After that checks out, the user is prompted with the opportunity to create a new password, and then taken back to the login screen for successful entry.
