Edit Speed Restriction
Norfolk Southern Railway's train conductors use MTR (Mobile Train Reporting) to keep track of the engines, train cars and cargo they're moving. In certain routes, the speed of the train has certain restrictions, especially with the nature of the cargo, weather, etc.. This element needed to be dynamically edited.
The Problem
The yellow bar where the speed restriction is not a lot of space to include an edit icon, and the flow should be very simple and straight-forward.
The Solution
The solution which made the most sense in this case was to include a word-based 'edit' link in order to guide the user through changing the restriction.
